Xylem Inc was formed in October 2011 as a spin off from ITT Corporation. It has four main business units: Water & Wastewater, Residential & Commercial Water, Analytics, and Flow Control.

Xylem is made up of several globally recognised brands, which specialise in every aspect of the water cycle – from collection, distribution and use, and its subsequent return to the environment.
